Department of Bengali is one of the oldest
department of JNRM. In the last few years gold medals have been bagged by
the topper students of the department. They are- Sri Nitai Chandre Bepari
(Passed the BA Exam in 2004), Kumari Putul Baroi ( Passed the BA Exam in 2007)
and Kumari Maitreyee(2010). Round the year the students of department involve
in cultural activities and observe the special days- such as- International
Mother tongue Day, Teachers Day etc.
