The Department of Historical Studies is one of the oldest courses of the College. The course started with the inception of the college. It is one of the departments of the college where large number of students take admission. The department has got highly qualified and young faculty who are very enthusiastic to contribute for the all round development of the students. With all new blood, the department wants to impart quality education among students and motivate them to excel in various walks of life like, research, education, banking, defence, police etc. It is proposed to start M.A in Historical studies as many students are eager to take up masters in history and pursue research.
